After analyzing Langes work, I decided to do the reverse of what she did to capture the final photograph, The Migrant Mother. I choose an object, a sculpture, and took some photos up close (the three are some of the up close ones) then gradually stepped back to get the whole picture of the sculpture. I love trying different angles in all of my photographs, so like my other shots, that was a major component in the photograph. As I stepped further back the background in the shot became more and more important because I wanted the sculpture in the foreground with a strong background as well. In these three the background does not stand out like the final one but the eye focuses on the texture of the metal sculpture.
